Oncology Is NOT a Whole 'Nother Animal

People hiring for agencies nowadays have somehow come to think of oncology as a specialty. It's now a coveted niche or a place to hide less creative medical writers. That doesn't mean a versatile writer can't do it. It's just another therapeutic category in my armamentarium. Not that I've worked a lot in the space. Let's see, there's was Purinethol, Marqibo, Evomela, and this launch messaging project for Incyte's Retifanlimab. Unfortunately, the FDA shot down the specialized SCAC indication and it didn't launch as expected.
